Exciting news for Griffith City Football Club as a new chapter begins!

After our successful return to the local Griffith & District Football Association’s Senior Men’s Competition in 2024, 2025 sees the start of a new chapter. We are excited to announce that Griffith City will be joining the Football Wagga competition for the 2025 season!

While continuing to maintain our presence in both Junior and Senior competitions in Griffith, the 2025 season will also see our Club enter teams into Football Wagga’s Women’s 1st Grade Leonard Cup, and the men’s Riverina League for 1st Grade and 2nd Grade Men, and Under 18’s.

Entering a competitive women’s format brings a welcome challenge to our players, the first opportunity since the loss of the local women’s competition at the end of 2018.

The 2025 season of Football Wagga is set to kick off on Saturday 12th of April. Registrations, through PlayFootball, will open soon. Instructions on how to register will be posted to Facebook.
